Hello ghouls and boils,
Working on Trespauze Manor ( or maybe that's for - it certainly seems to have some of its own ideas!) has been alot of fun for me. I tried hard to stay in the 1800's 'flavour' for the rooms. Some of you may remember my original attempts at creating said rooms. This year, I'm proud to say the rooms are more 'realistic' then ever, and 75% creepier! Muhahahaha -
This site would not have been possible, without help from some special souls indeed. So, humour me whilst I thank them. Scroll down for some other interesting links.
The regulars at 3 Paws Saloon Attic, whom thought I was nuts when I said in March,2004 I wanted to start on a virtual haunted house. They reminded me that Halloween was almost a year a way, measured me for a straightjacket, and started pitching in ideas on what they found 'scary'.
CHECKMATE , our packrat, whom following the crisis of my computer crashing, presented me 13 of my preliminary drafts for Trespauze, and spending countless hours offering suggestions and encouragment.
JUST JELLYBEAN...ah, Beanie, what would I have done without ya? Countless hours helping pillage sites for ideas, listening to me obsess and laughing at me when I said 'I'm not sure I'm capable of that..."
EojRepus who wrote the original score 'dissonant ghost', for the cemetery, "Hollow Waltz" for the ballroom and "Cryptic Intermission" for the Library.
Plum who helped where she could offering encouragement and to call a therapist for me.
DENNY'S KIDS a motley collection of assorted vampires, goths, witches, and story tellers, who willingly shared their thoughts, while sitting at Denny's Restaurant. One gray, drizzly day they accompanied me to a local (rumored to be haunted) house. I like to think that my Mother didn't raise a stupid child. It was a weird "Adam's Family" type structure, and I was with even weirder - people. But, who better to protect you from ghosties then witches and vampires? All in all it was a very educational experience. *Personal note* I am SO going to get you back for jumping out of that closet, David!
There are too many to list everyone who offered encouragement, ideas, etc. At the very least enthusiasm over this project, but they have my heartfelt thanks.
Of course special thanks goes to my own Princess Gothling, who bore months of me 'creating'. As she said, "Mom take a break before I call a doctor, and then an exorcist."
This site was last revamped in 20o8.
